The "Victoria Cross"

$25.00

A&L Designs counted cross stitch chart WW002-C, The "Victoria Cross". From the WWI Aircraft Series this chart is of the Sopwith Camel airplane. The words at the bottom right are "1917, Victoria Cross, Captain Roy E. Brown RFC, Sopwith Camel" Capt Brown was credited with shooting down the "Red Baron". Although there was much controversy over who really did fire the fatal shot. See also the "Blue Max" pattern, which is the type of plane flown by the "Red Baron".
